Meet the Board

Louise Bradley

Board Chair

Louise is a true champion for mental health and substance use care. As the former President and CEO of the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), she continues to work towards wellness for everyone and is a passionate mentor to emerging leaders in this space in Canada and around the world.

Throughout her career as an administrator, clinician, and her own lived experience, Louise has advocated for mental health care as an essential part of health care. Lousie is the proud recipient of the prestigious Order of Canada and Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Louise was a part of the initial scaling   of Stepped Care 2.0  when she was at MHCC. She identified with the principles and immediately saw how they could work for many people to help to increase their wellbeing and make care accessible for diverse communities. It seemed like a natural fit for her to join the SCS Board of Directors.

Louise is happy to collaborate to work towards Stepped Care Solutions’ vision of Wellbeing Everywhere. She understands that in order to thrive, people may sometimes need help to support their mental health and wellbeing.

In her leisure time, Louise enjoys reading and hiking, and these hobbies serve as self-care for her wellbeing.
